Im surprised by how hard it is to find a hotel in midtown Manhattan (specifically Rose Hill / Nomad) that offers eggs and bacon in its breakfast buffet. Its all coffee, juice, pastries and, if the place is especially ritzy, cereal. Useless if youre avoiding sugar or you just want something more substantial to start your day. Luckily theres Airbnb, where breakfast is limited only by my own cooking, but does anyone know why those hotel-breakfast staples, ubiquitous everywhere from Dublin to Hanoi to San Francisco, are so thin on the ground in that part of NYC?
