Im taking a class called Rebuilding Native Nations, in chapter 11 - TopicsExpress

Im taking a class called Rebuilding Native Nations, in chapter 11 titled What do leaders Do? I found something I would like to share with everyone. Rebuilding Native Nations (Strategies For Governance and Development) page 280 Leaders can play a central role in changing citizens expectations for the future and their understanding of what must be done to get there. They can strengthen citizens belief that things can be different and that citizens own contributions matter. They can provide a vision of where the nation needs to go and an outline of necessary action. They can cut through rumors about what our government is really up to and make the process of government transparent. They can shift the conversation from what outsiders need to do for the nation to what the nation is going to do for itself. And they can demonstrate, in their own language and ideas, the new conversation they are trying to create. My point is I see this in Chris Mercier, Kathleen Tom, and Ann Lewis, and Brenda Tuomi. Everyone please vote!!
