Im thankful for 27 years of decoys and stewed shrimp and beautiful art work. For volunteers and community leaders. Im thankful for banana pudding and lighten bread biscuits and little wooden skiffs and hearing stories from our past and meeting new people that love all these things ALMOST as much as I do. At the end of the day, as good as all of that stuff is, its not about the stuff I mentioned, its about the personal relationships we have with the folks we meet that make all this happen. And if those relationships are important to us then so too is the one we have with our Heavenly Father. Remember him this season, vow to strengthen the bond you have with him. Except the greatest gift, continue to enjoy the greatest gift ever given.... Is my prayer for each of us....
