Im thankful for lessons learned. I was raised by trail and error. My parebts belived that if I made a mistake I would learn from them. Some took a few times of doing the sane thing over to learn that maybe that wasnt a good idea and there were times where it didnt take but a sec to learn from it. There are things I wish I could go back and redo but we all wish that once in a while. There are things I wish I ciyld forgst and things Im glad I remeber. All of these things make us who we are. I hope some of the things I messed up on my kids dont do and there are some I hope they do. Yes I just said I hope my kids mess up. There are things each of us do want our kids to mess up doing just so they learn from them. Im deep in thought tonight about this because I have pushed my sister to do better then I did. I push all of my kids (not in a crazy jock father wants his son to be just like him kinda way). I push them just a little harder then they think they can do so they know when they succeed that they should push themselves a little harder next time. Im saying thia because my sister and I are day and night. I droped out. Shes already passed my highest grade level. I didnt have plans for after school. Shes got a million. My lessons in life have effected the children that live with me. I put it that way because my sister is not my child even though I treat her as she is. My biggest dream is for these children to live their dreams without regret. Im not perfact and my kids arent but I know Im teaching them to do good. They are learning something from me. ;)
