Im that parent that goes overboard for Christmas. Ive been known to wrap everything individually and have gifts from floor to ceiling. This year was different. Ive been in some weird pain for awhile and had surgery a week ago.....which made things worse. I felt terrible because I wasnt ready for Christmas and hadnt even started. I told each boy privately that I was sorry I couldnt do my usual thing. Christians response was that it didnt matter how many gifts he had that my health was more important and went on to tell me what Christmas really meant to him. Landons response was that he was happy I was okay and that made him happy and he knows I love him. He also went on to explain to me that Christmas is about Jesus birthday. Both of their responses made my heart skip a beat! Im thrilled that in spite of my commercialism they know the true meaning of Christmas. They make me so proud. I love my boys ❤️
