Im the kind of person that really chews on something, typically, before I open my mouth about it. I just feel the need to dispel some misconceptions about band wives. I was told this weekend, its really good youre out here supporting your man...and then this well meaning young lady began to talk about a band wife whos never there for any of her husbands gigs. The truth is....just because we are not at every single gig does not mean we dont support our significant other...it usually means we are being very supportive and taking care of other family obligations so they can pursue their passion for entertainment and music. I support my husband 100% ....even though I may not be there physically...Im always with him in spirit.
