Im thinking about hiring an assistant. This morning I have assisted with: Daisy the black lab at AACAC (now adopted!) Topaz - a gorgeous blue pittie at AACAC who Ill be transporting to the SPCA tmw once she recovers from her spay An email about a lady who was pressured into taking a pit puppy who is now misbehaving Yard work around the house (by the way, a leaf blower is a great way to sweep your floors if you dont mind doing a bad job and just pushing the dirt to one side of the room) And finally, helping a homeless lady and her son who came into Animal Control with their Jack Russell. The son bawling his eyes out because they need someone to take his best friend for a short while so the mom can find more work, and they can stop living in a car. With the help of others, we are hoping to get their beloved dog, Nellie, into a short term foster, get the boy school supplies & clothes, and get the mom additional work so she can get back on her feet. There are some great people working on this so Im hopeful for this family. Anyone interested in my assistant position should be willing to do the following: a) prepare my meals, eat them, and clean it up b) sleep 7 hours each night for me c) respond to all the requests I get each day for help Pay is commensurate with other fake jobs, to be dispensed in bi-monthly atta-boys or atta-girls, depending on your personal preference.
