Im thrilled to be able to share that I have been asked by TOMS / TOMS Australia to join them for this years World Sight Day campaign and to ask What does sight mean to you ? And for those close to me you will know why this is an extremely important topic for me. DID YOU KNOW THAT : * 285 million people are blind or visually impaired. 80% don’t have to be * 90% of the world’s visually impaired people live in developing countries * 80% of what a child learns through the first 12 years of life is through vision So please be active on October 9th to help raise global raise awareness about blindness and the visually impaired . So in the lead up to World Sight Day , Toms have asked me to upload an image that shows the world what Im thankful for so I have chosen 2 1. Im thankful for the creativity that my sight allows me to explore and create everyday. Without it my world would be very different . 2. The Australian sunrise that I try and see every day . #givesight
