Im tired of the pro-immigration go-to line well were all descendants of immigrants! Plus, look what the first immigrants did to the native americans! First of all, look how badly that turned out for the Native Americans back in the day. The colonists destroyed their entire lifestyle in a matter of decades. How about instead of trying not to be hypocrites, we learn from the mistakes of the past? Want to not end up a marginalized demographic forced onto preassigned pieces of land? Then take a look at what the Native Americans did wrong to end up that way. Immigrants were bad for Native Americans, perhaps they will be bad for us as well. Second of all, this argument is based mostly on the whole white privilege bull shit liberals and social justice warriors like to cry about. Apparently being the same color as the original colonists somehow makes me a bad person. Quit aligning me with the horrific injustices committed by the early European settlers, I have never A.) Spread small pox B.) Forced a family off their land, or C.) Enslaved a person. So telling me to consider the plight of the early native americans is just you trying to win an argument by making me feel some misplaced guilt. There is no point to this rant and thus no good place to end it, so Ill end here.
