Im trying to change my world and get healthy these days and normally when I got the urge to have a burger... I would just go get one (favourite was flame grilled chicken burger w cheese from HJs)........ Ummmm Hence the extra kgs Im carrying. HaHa And with all the easy access to takeaway, drive thrus and what not, its easy to fold in these situations. I got an urge whilst downtown today and Instead of picking one up, I came home and made some in less than 20 minutes!!! And I have to tell you!..... I am now satisfied. I still got the same feeling of deliciousness and I dont feel like shit after devouring it. Obviously it would be even more amazing with Bread (Jez had the bread he made this morning with it) but today I just had some salad with it. But see below for some Pure Bliss & Comfort! Enjoy! 😋🍔💣 Blumfort Chilli Chicken Burgers Makes 4 Patties 1 Chilli (cut in pieces) 1 Garlic Clove 10 leaves of Basil 1/4 Red Onion 1/4 Zucchini (cut into quarters) 1/2 Cup of Corn Kernals S & P to taste 1 Chicken Breast (250 gm) 1 Egg 1/4 cup Panko Crumbs 500gm Water Tsp Coconut Oil or Olive whatever you prefer Use oil to spread over Varoma Tray & Dish, set aside. Place Chilli, Zucchini, Onion, Garlic, Basil and half of the corn into TM5 bowl and Chop for 3 sec/speed 7. Set aside and dont clean bowl. Add Chicken Pieces to TM5 bowl, mince for 5 sec/speed 7. Add all the remaining ingredients into bowl (besides water) and mix for 3 sec/speed 5. Form the mix into 4 patties and place in oiled Varoma Dish and Tray. Set aside. Rinse bowl clean. Add 500gm Water to bowl, place Varoma into position and steam patties for 15 min / Varoma / Speed 1. Then Waaahhhllaaaa! You now have a delicious Chicken Burger. Serve as you see fit! Mmmmmmm Burger me up!!! 🍔🍔🍔😋😋😋 NOTES: If not cooking straight away place on plate instead of in the Varoma dish or if freezing, place each patty between baking paper and then in a container or freezer bag for freezer. You can make these into meatballs or even place in a silicone loaf tray and make slices. Use other Meats, Herbs, Spices & Veg still use same settings. Enjoy. 👍
