Im trying to find info on my g-g-g-g-grandparents, James Henry Gould and Mary (Pallister) Gould. They were not born in Ontario, but they were married in the Wesleyan Church in Brock District on Nov 26 1845. The record says they were living in Zorra at the time. They had at least three children born in Canada (I have Mary Elizabeth 1847, Sarah A Abt 1849, and Elvira/Alvira Elizabeth 1852), and they bought land in Wisconsin Jun 1 1858. United States records have conflicting information, but mostly suggest that James was born in Nova Scotia on Jan 23 1820 and Mary was born in England about 1828, and possibly lived in New Brunswick. I have a death certificate for James in Michigan, with a date of Nov 12 1901. It shows he is a widow, but I have not found anything for Mary. Im hoping to find info on their siblings and parents.
