Im trying to learn why a particular ferrite-choked power cord causes digital noise in two pieces of unrelated electronic gear. Both my PreSonus 16.4.2 mixer and Integra Research RDC-7 surround preamp exhibit a distinct high-frequency glare that is relatively unbearable...until the old MIT Z-Cord II is swapped out for anything else. I just wasted three days chasing down the new-found screech while reconnecting my reference system...so any help from my hifi friends would greatly be appreciated. Lewis Colon? Steven R. Rochlin? Tom Tj Jankowski? Gary Pillon? You guys are my collective mountain of rocks of wisdom...got any hints or tips?!
