Im trying to understand the purpose of this site. I proudly call myself a Marine wife. Not because Im riding my husbands coattails, nor am I a dependa. I fully support my husband...by giving up my stability and moving state to state, enrolling my kids in new schools every few years, having no family around, making new friends and looking for a new jobs every time he has a new duty station. And by the way I make more money then my Ssgt husband. Im proud of what he does for his family and his country. However, like any other real man, he provides health insurance for us and other benefits that we enjoy because of his job. That makes me a bad person? Do your husbands not provide any benefits that you all use?Yes, we all know about the girls who give us all a bad rep but I feel like many of you are out there to purposely exploit and judge all military wives. Perhaps Im wrong...I just wanted to respectfully give you all another perspective, and let you all know that Im sorry that your experience with wives were so bad that youve branded us all so negatively.
