Im very concerned about the crisis in Crimea. Ive studied President Putin since he became the president of the newly fledged democratic nation of Russia. Ive known all along he would wait for his moment when the world was in such a scenario politically and economically before he took action to take Crimea from Ukraine. And this, like Hitler, wont be the last action he takes before its all over with. And the reason for this is that he believes he holds all the cards economically to take these actions, like taking Eastern Ukraine to protect the Russian population there. President Obama brought us to this place in history by his own arrogance in believing the Russian culture is up to the standards of the rest of the world, but this is not true, and never has been true. Now Im not talking about Russian society; Im talking about the culture itself whereby the culture has, in just under a century come from a feudal society whereby peasants could neither read nor write, and this is the environment where elections have come from. The basic existential philosophies are understood by an oligarchy of the population, and Putin is not such an educated man. He comes from the Soviet Union mindset which is a brutal one, coming from both Lenin and Stalin. The only way to stop this situation in its tracks is to send troops and heavy war material to the region to speak Putins language. NATO must have the arms and the will to go to war if need be, and the Russian government must be made to see this with their own eyes. Putin has been right all along in that the sanctions brought to bear against him and his Russian mob, can be reversed against the EU as well as the US. You all may not realize just how serious this is, but I believe it as serious as the Cuban missile crisis which took place before most of you were born, but if you study the subject, you will realize Crimea is just the beginning of this reign of terror a creature like Putin can impose on the world at large. Add to your thinking, the additional issue of terrorism in the world today. Hes inviting them to engage with the world again as a way to distort the major significance the loss of Crimea to the notion of globalization. Study your maps and notice the bottleneck Crimea creates. I realize how crazy this all sounds, and I apologize for sounding like a war monger, but Im not. I simply recognize whats been coming for a long time. I would imagine the great think tanks around the world have been looking at this scenario for a long time, but with someone like Obama in power we are left with a poof in the wind as far as a man like Putin is concerned. I want you all to be outraged by his lack of action on the ground in Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, etc. I appreciate any of your comments in response to my statements.
