Im very confident the NFL (whose teams are heavily subsidized by taxpayer dollars and for whom the league, by virtue of our corrupt Congress, is 100% STATUTORILY EXEMPT from federal income tax) will ultimately do the right thing. Thus, when Roger Goodell is ultimately let go, they will do whats right and give him a nice severance and Golden Parachute worth, oh, probably $20/$30 million, compliments of the United States taxpayer. Im also confident Goodell, who suspended New Orleans coach Sean Payton for an entire year during the bounty scandal of a few years ago, without pay, even when Payton had no knowledge of the bounties some of his players had placed on other opposing players, on the basis that ignorance is not an excuse, wont find a damn thing hypocritical on his end and will feel he is entitled to that generous Golden Parachute, while pleading ignorance in his own defense. I am also confident our corrupt Congress, wholly bought and paid for by the generous donations of NFL lobbyists, wont revoke the NFLs tax exempt status either.
