Im very disdainful of churches that preach about God or love or hellfire or any number of things but are too afraid of losing their tax-exempt status to preach what the Bible says about various problems in our society. They refuse to say, This candidate is bad, because they care too much about money. An exception in Houston has occurred. The mayor has said that pastors there cannot refuse to marry LGBT couples. This is wrong. Pastors have every right to refuse to commit what they believe to be immoral and unbiblical. The LGBT couples cannot force their views on the pastors, this removes the freedom of the pastors. Five pastors were subpoenaed and now seven pastors stand together to tell the mayor that she is wrong and that they wont tolerate government bullying the churches any more. I dont know how far they will all take it, I hope they take it all the way. THIS IS separation of church and state and a primary reason we fought England three centuries ago.
