Im very frustrated by the attitude of a national baby loss - TopicsExpress

Im very frustrated by the attitude of a national baby loss charity, Saying Goodbye. Ive sent them several tweets asking them to RT my post about baby loss awareness week, which basically says how important effective communication is and asks parents to get in touch with me about their own experiences - good and bad. Other organisations have RTd, no problem. Saying Goodbye instead sends me a very patronising DM saying I am doing wonderful work and they already work with other partners, which means they cant work with others at this time. Since when does a RT constitute working with others? It would have taken less time to have hit the RT button than send the direct messages. The baby loss community faces enough challenges without such disappointing attitudes - we should all work together and complement each others work, not dismiss people in such an offhand way. Oh, and effective social media strategy is not just about broadcasting and asking followers to RT your work, but engaging too. Rant over. *Retires to a quiet corner to calm down* #hugoslegacy
