Im very saddened to hear of the passing of local music promoter, Roosevelt Stanley. Roosevelt became a great friend and we became mutual fans of each other through our time spent together at the Tacoma Community Center where he organized local bluegrass shows. He was gracious enough to let me perform there numerous times when I first began playing. His arrangements are as follows, the wake will be from 6-8 tonight with the funeral being held tomorrow at 2:00pm at Sturgills Funeral Home in Wise, VA.
