Im visiting family back in TN. Saw quite a few transport trucks on the drive down, all empty though I believe. We stopped at a rest stop and walked out of the building and the smell hit me. I knew what it was, I looked to the truck side of the lot and there one was. My heart sank. My sons and I walked closer. It was empty. I would have lost it had there been animals in there. It is so hot and humid down here. I cant imagine what these animals endure on their transports here. Minutes later down the road as I passed the truck, I found out it was a pig transport truck bc of a picture and words bacon something on it. And the truck decided to change lanes just as I was and almost hit me! I thought of you guys as I saw the trucks. Im sure I will see more during my travels. I hope I dont see any with animals in them. On the brighter side I ate at a fabulous vegan restaurant in my hometown of Nashville. Its nice to see this here.
