Im visiting loving family in the St. Louis, MO area & were locked to the local news in Ferguson and beyond. Saddened and upset. Plus, for me, this is a highly opinionated region & Im a bit of a fish out of water, even in my hometown. Ferguson is the first address I remember as a 2-3 year old toddler. Soon Ill be posting some beautiful photos of our ride on the Tail of the Dragon in North Carolina last week (Google it--its 318 curves in 11 miles!). But first, Im posting these ludicrous statements by the Ferguson police chief at a news conference this morning at 1:45 a.m. while the fires still raged. Here goes:
