Im vouching for this woman, she is 100% the real deal, she walks her talk, she even studies the language. I met her a few years ago, I watched her actions at our Natives womens drum retreat, she follows protocol to the T, not easy to do, and she doesnt slack at it. Mom and I had the honor of sitting at her drum during last years retreat (Mom and I dont drum hop, we have learned how important it is to know your sitting at a safe/honorable drum with a proper Drum Keeper). She was the first Cherokee woman to take me to the river for proper ceremony. She works in tribal healthcare down south. Shes currently working to bring a SART Team to the tribal health clinic verses sending them to a far away ER room which is even more traumatizing for the victims. The people of Cherokee Nation tribal jurisdiction need our attention and support. Please pass and share this information via all of your social media sites. We need to get this out into the wide open! Quoting Anna Wells via Pollys Grandaughter... Progress is slow, but coming. The long reach of the little dixie mafia aka Cherokee Nation doesnt play fair. They will go to extreme lengths to harass patient advocates, even if that includes placing a restraining order on the sole caregiver of a Cherokee elder who is disabled, without any real justification, and then extend the order for 90 days without a fair hearing. This is real. We need people to write letters to their council representative and the media demanding an investigation into the business practices of this agency. She continued: Were taking this fight outside of Cherokee Nation because its impossible to get fair treatment in our court system or from the AGs office. click the link to read the full article.
