Im wanting to do a little research with yall. As you likely know, I took over blossoms and sprouts farm last summer. Overall I would call the market garden and what was grown a success. I attribute a lot of that success to the variety of food we had available on any given Saturday. And while I enjoy growing the standard fare of greens, squash, cukes, carrots, peas and beans and beets, etc, part of me wants to do something different from the norm. But what do you all want to see? We are growing for the community so what does the community want? What dont you see that you want? What dont you see enough of that you want more of? Some things that Im attempting to add in this year are artichokes and sunchokes. Im looking into doing more berries, but those typically take a least a year to establish, which is a challenge when it comes to cash flow. More fresh herbs? More cut flowers? Medicinal plants? Lets have a discussion......
