Im wondering how many other folks ended their lives this week? How many soldiers? How many moms and/or dads? How many average, regular folk? I wonder how many of these people we mourn? How many of these people are the focus of every television network, news outlet and social media platform? In no way am I saying that there are not those who capture our interest and our hearts - what I AM saying is that I wonder how wonderfully different all of our lives could be if we focused even a small amount of such time on ourselves.... on quieting our lives; on looking within and truly listening. ...on re-discovering who WE are, who we were born as and to be - love. As we know ourselves and love ourselves, the need to mourn such losses is eliminated. As always, life is about choices... I love you.
