Im working towards a bachelors degree in business management at Colorado Technical Institute. Dr Pepper is giving tuition assistance in the form of a scholarship. Im too old for the $100,000 but in January they are giving away $5000 to the top 5. You can only vote once so you have time. My first day I received 57 votes and only a handful of those were from facebook. That makes me hopefully. Im finding a huge network of people who want to better themselves and are motivated to do it along with helping others achieve their dreams. But let me explain a little bit about why I decided to go to back to school. First and foremost because I am in the middle of starting a non profit and have very little idea of what to do. Ive been trying to be my own boss for years with very little success. Dye For Awareness is my baby and Im set on it becoming something Ive been envisioning for a year now. Plus the benefits it will give me personally will be amazing. The early no credit courses have already taught me a lot about myself and some math too I have all my tuition covered which is about $15,000/YR but this scholarship would cut my student loans in half and eliminate a lot of interest. Not counting on it but Im not calling it quits either. Ive recently made the decision not to give up on my self ironically during suicide prevention month and the new found respect Ive given myself is a wonderful feeling.
