Im writing you this as I drive back from another productive day on our early voting tour. Today I visited LaGrange, Douglasville, and Covington on another leg of my early voting tour and the reception has been fantastic! Our supporters are excited and we have the momentum heading into the final few weeks of the campaign. With so many candidates in the race, every vote is going to count. In case you missed it, a poll came out today showing us surging into a statistical tie with David Perdue for first place. This campaign has never been about big money or D.C. special interests, its been about the grassroots and conservatives all across Georgia who are fed-up with both parties in Washington. Since Governor Palin and Erick Erickson endorsed my campaign, weve seen an uptick in volunteers, supportive calls to the office, and even donations. Were so close to securing a place in the runoff, but the truth is, David Perdue and Jack Kingston have deep pockets and we need to raise more money to compete with their large media expenditures. If you ever thought about giving to our campaign, then NOW is the time. NOW is when we have the momentum in this race and right NOW we need more resources to compete. Were so close.
