Imagine: People are pushed off a high tower for mocking Newton and making jokes about the anecdote of apple falling on his head. People are dumped into Black holes for not understanding Einsteins theory of General Relativity. People are scorched with Ultraviolet radiation for denying Ozone depletion and harmful effects of Ultraviolet radiation. Believers of flat Earth are set unaided into orbit about the Earth so that they could revolve around it every 90 minutes. People are heated in microwave oven for not believing in Global warming. Fatal genes are injected into peoples genome for believing that Soul, and not DNA, is the true replicator and basis of life. People who cry foul against Evolution are made to live with Chimpanzees and then are made to realize how similar are their actions to the Great Apes. Sounds ridiculous, doesnt it? But such actions start making sense when done in the name of Religion. And then Atheists are called hateful, intolerant and arrogant for plainly criticizing and mocking the religious dogma. We have to evolve much before we start calling ourselves the intelligent species....... #justsaying .... :/
