Imagine being a professional MMA fighter in the UK, fighting on a show and something really bad happens to your health...the actual fight is dangerous enough as we all know, but foreign objects have been known to cause damage to fighters skulls on occasion...Now imagine the promoters are not adequately insured to protect the fighters they employ in case of any potential serious accidents, that could result in disability or death...You would have to imagine that this just wouldnt happen...It could tarnish UK MMA badly with such flouting of fighter safety, to save a shilling...be a bad show to put your name to that one, especially if you were an organiser or professional official...Terribly bad reflection on our noble sport, but sadly ive learned today, its a reality...Check this out fighters, before you commit to any show, cos whose gona provide for your kids or family if your left sucking threw a straw or powdered in a tin on the mantle place? Tut tut tut!
