Imagine growing up in an orphanage from infancy, having never met your biological father. A man comes to you in the orphanage saying, I met a man who claims to be your father and he really wants a relationship with you. Days, weeks, months and even years go by but you never meet your father--no cards, no letters, no e-mails or phone calls. In fact, the only evidence that your father is alive is this mans claim he exists. Why havent you heard from him? Although you hope your father is alive and wants to meet you, you remain skeptical. Whatever reasons your earthly father might have for not wanting or being able to meet you simply do not apply to this so-called Heavenly Father, which is why I contend that non-belief is far more natural & logical than a position of belief.
