Imagine if the 7+ billion people were represented by a village of 100 men, women and children, it would look something like this: 57 Asians, 8 Europeans, 21 Africans and 14 people from the Western hemisphere. 52 women and 48 men, no doctors, no nurses, no clinics and no schools. No safe drinking water, no common language, no electricity and no paved roads,1 collage graduate, 1 TV and 1 Computer. 70 people would not know how to read or write, 50 people would be suffering from malnutrition, 6 people in that village would possess 59% of the entire global wealth, all 6 would be US citizens. And the average person in that village would be a 13 year old Chinese girl.
