Imagine my surprise when a rattle developed on the Saab - a near-constant jingle-jangle sound. Really annoying on a long drive. I spent ages attempting to locate said noise, which only stopped when I occasionally changed gear. I have a flappy paddle controlled semi-autobox, so in practical terms, that meant when I selected reverse. Unable to detect the source, I took the car to the garage and after lengthy tests, the mechanic concluded the origin of the jingling noise was the buckle of my wristwatch...Doh! ;-)
