Imagine your government BANNED you from using your mobile phone. Then imagine that you could be SHOT DEAD at any moment, simply for the crime of being who you are. That is whats happening to our brothers and sisters in CAR. Earlier this year, the government in Bangui placed a ban on text messages on all four of the nations networks. Any attempt to send a text message would be returned with a notification reading SMS not allowed. What are the implications of this? With a death toll that reaches OVER 5100, and displacement reaching a million, there are no opportunities for the people of CAR to communicate with their family and friends who theyve been separated from, let alone the rest of the world. Who will hear and see their pain? Who will listen? The people in CAR have nothing. They only have us. Do your part.
