Imam Al-Nawawi: If a person is sick and is unable to fast because of sickness that he hopes to recover from, he does not have to fast at present, but he has to make it up. This applies if he will face considerable difficulty in fasting. (al-Majmoo‘, 6/261-262) Our prophet (alayhi selam) warned us from going to extremes in our religion, if you really are sick and need to recover dont force yourself to fast and make yourself worse. If you have an honest excuse to break you fast then there is no blame on you.
