Imam Amin Muhammad: Do not drive a car without brakes. The brakes of the vehicle of Tasawwuf is the Shariah. Know that you will crash, religiously, if you practice Tasawwuf without the Shariah. All the prominent scholars of Tasawwuf were masters of the sciences of Shariah. Nowadays, Sufism is the biggest hustle for pretenders to lure people into their traps. The Shariah is the breaks to stop you from falling into those traps. It is the discerner between the true Sufis and the fake Sufis. Recognize!
