Immediate Release: Sunday, April 27, 2014/N124 Ministry VROMI announces partial closure of Bush Road PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), hereby announces that there will be a complete road closure of part of Bush Road at the intersection Zagersgut Road/Bush Road, starting from the SOL Gas Station to the Texaco Gas Station, in the vicinity of Cost U Less and Kentucky Fried Chicken. The interruption to the traffic flow in the aforementioned area will take place on Monday April 28, from 10:00 pm until 5:00 am. There will be no through traffic coming from neither the Bush Road nor Zagersgut Road. All traffic will be diverted to the Zagersgut Road – Coralita Road – Gladiola Road and onto the L.B. Scot Road through the Grand Marche Round-a-bout. Customers who intend to visit Kentucky Fried Chicken or Paradise Inn are advised to use the Grand Marche parking lot. The road closure is in connection with road repair using hot asphalt. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to be vigilant and observant for the traffic directional signs indicating what works are underway in the respective area.
