Immigration and labor law to be topic at Aurora University Oct. 30 “How Labor Law addresses Immigration Compliance Issues” will be explored at Aurora University at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30. The free, public program will be held in the university banquet hall in Alumni Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Place in Aurora. Guest speaker will be Eileen Momblanco, partner at Laner Muchin, Ltd., law firm, Chicago. Networking and refreshments will open at 7:30 a.m. Momblanco will discuss immigration compliance issues and provide an update on new I/9 forms required for employment eligibility verification of all new hires. A Laner Muchin emplpoyee since 2005, and a partner since January 2009, Momblanco ‘s specialty is employment based immigration law. She has represented large multinational companies nationwide. She has served as chair and vice chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s immigration and nationality committee.
