Importance of Jummah O you who believe! When the call for salah is made on al -Jummah hasten to the remembrance of Allah, and leave trading aside. That is better for you, if only you knew. [62:9] Prophet Muhammad(p.b.u.h.) has said : The best day of the week that the sun rises on, is the day of Jummah. The night of Jummah (the night between Thursday and Friday) is more blessed and the day of Jumah is most blessed. On this day,Adam (R.A.) was created, granted entrance into Jannah,descend into Earth and died too. Qiyamah will also take place on Friday. Among the seven days of the week, Friday is the day when Allahs Special mercies are granted. It is a day of gathering for the Muslims and rewards are increased.
