Importance of prayer.......pt 1 Backsliding does not start the day one commit fornication, or engage in bribery, examination malpractice, lying, secret sins etc....no!....it start the day the stop praying fervently, it start the day u just knock Heavens door and before God says yes Whos at the door, you have already catch the nearest cab to work, or to school or to shop...yea thats the day it starts, when u stop praying, you start dying spiritually, yea! You christian strength lyes in prayer, prayer is the spiritual glucose to keep you running steadfastly the Heavenly race, Prayer is to your christian life what oxygen is to the human body,in prayer you exhale your weakness and inhale the fullness(His holiness,streng th,Nature.grace.etc) of God(Ephessians 3vs19)....Paul thank God for making Him able minister because He always bow his knees to God in prayer......prayer makes u to have perfect hatred for sin......when you stop praying, you start sinning(backsliding), when you stop praying, you start losing spiritual glucose and oxygen leading to your collapse into total sinfulness........in Gods name never leave your home any day without spending time at the Throne of Grace....oh! Lord, make me a man/ woman of prayer!...
