Important Announcement - please see details below: Inspirational Grounds and Sweet Dreams Bakery Getting back to the basics and the roots of our beginnings - where our passion truly is….. After much prayer and consideration, we are planning major changes for our business. Due to high overhead and low sales at our current location, we are making plans to change locations. We want to be clear in that we are NOT closing our business, but looking to relocate. Our current facility is too large with too much overhead for what our business has been going through. We have decided to go back to basics, back to our roots and focus more on Coffee and Desserts with the potential for keeping a portion of our food offerings. We are also doing this in an effort to be able to spend more time with our family and friends. These last four years and especially this past year has taken its toll on our ability to have quality time with each other, our family and those around us as we have tried to take on more and more to keep our business expanding to pay the high overhead. We have a few places in mind and are interested in recommendations if you know of a good space you think would work for our business. We are seeking God’s direction in this endeavor, so location may or may not continue to be in Dunn. If you have commercial rental property or are in the business, please let us know and we would be glad to talk to you. For those who have current orders with us, we will continue to fill orders as promised. We are in the initial stages of making this change, so for now it is business as usual. Any new orders will be addressed as needed. As things progress we will be in contact with any orders that may be affected in the future. In regards to gift certificates and coupons anyone may have, we will still be honoring all of our promotional materials and products no matter where we may re-locate. If we re-locate outside of Dunn, we are also already working on plans for delivery service as well as a pick-up location to make things more convenient. We are also still seeking local businesses and especially restaurants to offer more sweet treats to sell in their stores. As we make plans to relocate, at least a portion of the space we are currently in will be available immediately to anyone who may be interested in coming in to sub-lease a portion or all of our space. The space can be rented out in total or broken down into up to 3 separate businesses. Although we do not own the land and building, we have a year remaining on our current lease and have the option of sub-leasing all or a portion of the building. There is also the potential of an additional 5 year option at the end of the lease. Certain aspects of sub-lease may be subject to owner’s approval. If you are interested in leasing any or all of our current space, please let us know and we will be glad to set a time to talk to you about it. We have lots of concepts and ideas for a full-service restaurant and other business opportunities in our current space, but we lack the time, energy and resources to do these on our own. If you are interested in this opportunity or have ideas of your own, we would be glad to talk to you. Depending on how things progress through “downsizing” we may also have equipment and other furnishings to sell for anyone who may be interested. This will depend largely on how things continue at this point and the direction in which God leads. As we take additional steps forward, we will be making further announcements.
