Important!! As my bus drove away with the stadium in the rear view mirror I took a moment to reflect. Despite my equipment failures, playing in my hometowns backyard, performing near the place I went to college, meeting new friends, and hearing the thousands of fans singing along to my music, last night was special to me in other ways. People close to me know my Dad has had a rough few weeks. For him to muster enough energy and battle the pain to come see his son last night is just remarkable. My mother is also a motivator, full of life and and an inspiration to all that met her last night. Finally, for me to give back a small piece of myself to my friends, fans and family who has stuck by me even in the roughest of times is a blessing. I couldnt see you guys individually but I felt you collectively in the sea of 10s of thousands. There is no greater gift and love in my life now then to be able to help give my friends, fans and family which I hope is the most memorable time of their lives. With deep love- DU #inspire
