The media is showing the enormity of the destruction caused by the super typhoon and our owner of Not Just travel has decided that he will try and a bit to help. Total destruction of towns and villages through the Philippines, over 9 million people affected and now struggling to survive without food, shelter or clean drinking water. Officials believe that up to 10,000 people have died in the city of Tacloban alone. As a company and as an individual he genuinely believes that those in a position to help, should. Every year we send hundreds if not thousands of customers to Asia and as part of our responsible tourism programme we should do what we can to help the region. Therefore from today and for the next week, he will be donating 25% of the profit we make from ALL bookings to the international relief effort. This is not to be seen as a marketing initiative as that is not the objective. However at the same time I would urge everyone to use this opportunity to encourage people to book with us during the next 7 days. The more bookings we take, the more money we will be able to give to charity. If you are thinking about booking a holiday either now or in the future, I ask you all to bring forward that purchase. If you are torn between booking with us or someone else, please book with us for those reasons I have just posted.
