Important Reminder: Nobody’s Perfect! Remember Oprah Winfrey’s commencement speech to the graduating class of Harvard 2013 when she admitted, “I was stressed and frustrated and quite frankly, I was embarrassed” after her network that she had recently started was considered a flop and a failure. Well, I’m feeling the same way lately, and I’m keeping her words in my head as a reminder, “Trouble don’t last always. This too shall pass.” It’s all a part of that walking bravely with God, my guys! I’m a huge Oprah fan and my favorite quote from her lately is, “My choice to in every way, in every example, in every experience to do the right thing and the excellent thing is what has created the brand.” And to be quite honest, I believe that is what has created our brand as well! Yes, I’ll be the first to admit that we’ve had some flops in the past, and will probably have some more in the future, as that’s all a part of the human experience! But one thing is that we’ve always tried to do the right thing and the excellent thing in cleaning them up! I’m so over excuses and I believe in leaving the past in the past and just remembering the lessons they’ve taught us! And believe you me, the flops are what have taught us the biggest lessons! They’re all a part of God’s perfectly designed plans to get us where He would have us to be! And just like my Oprah, we’re going to turn this thing around, and we’ll be better for it! “Let nothing trouble you. Let nothing frighten you.
