Important Survey... As you know Rainbow Wedding Network produces LGBT Wedding Expos nationwide. This year we will produce 24 events and out of those 24 events only 4 LGBT Equality Groups or LGBT Community Centers have participated in 2013. A little background information...we offer any Equality Group or LGBT organization a FREE exhibitor space, speaking opportunity, and more. If they cant exhibit, we will offer to place marketing material in the attendees swag bag that may help promote an upcoming Equality event, again Free for the organization. The reasons we are given as to why they cant or wont exhibit vary. Some tell us, sorry we are busy, some tell us they are a small staff and simply dont want to attend an event on the weekend. Some say they cannot work with us because our business is for-profit. Most dont even return our calls... While we understand that our events are important to us and they may not be important to everyone, it does seem obvious that our events match up quite well with LGBT equality groups. And when they reject coming to our event, they are really rejecting our couples that attend a Rainbow Wedding Network LGBT wedding expo. They are rejecting that our couples are worth meeting and getting to know as members of the same community, working toward the very same goals of equality for our minority. So finally our survey question... On a scale of 1-10, how important is it to you that we at RainbowWeddingNetwork continue to reach out to your local LGBT Equality Group or LGBT Community Center and invite them to attend our LGBT Wedding Expos?
