Important Weather Update: Flooding Causes Evacuations, Closes Roads in San Marcos Heavy rain overnight in Hays County is causing flooding and evacuations along the Blanco in San Marcos, including along River Road. The Blanco is expected to crest in San Marcos around 8 a.m. River rescues are being reported. Evacuations are occurring on Riviera Street between the railroad trestle and Aquarena Springs, Blanco River Lodge, 1975 Aquarena Springs, River Road, Hacienda Mobile Home Park, The Grove, Hackberry Street, the Lodge at Southwest, and Blanco Star Mobile Home Park. Temporary shelter is available at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins. San Marcos CISD is closed today.
