One can denounce and act against US Imperialism consistently while not bowing to other inferior imperialist blocks. The idea that one needs to create cover for these blocks and their puppet regimes is nonsense. Lets talk about the case of Syria. If the Syrian people are resisting US Imperialism, it is certainly not the Assad regime at the vanguard of it. The Assad regime is attempting very desperately to collaborate with US imperialism in its strikes against ISIS. The political class in both the US and the UK are openly speaking about if they should and how to open relations back up with Assad. The fool Tankies talking about how Assad is the real target are just straight lying to themselves.
