Important info regarding the changes to the 2015 CAFNIX Series. This year both the Café Racer Club and Phoenix MCC have decided to return to a more classic format of racing. 600cc and over 1000cc classes are back with feature races for the Steve Martin/Pete Kerr Cup and Reece Bancell Trophy. Steve Martin/Pete Kerr Cup Feature is open to all grades and machine, Reece Bancell Trophy is open to C & D grade only, all machines. Please refer to sup regs for round and series awards. Cross entry into the feature races is free. IF there are more than 32 entries into the feature races the fastest 32 after qualifying will get a start in these 2 events. Cross entry between all other events will attract a $50 fee as seen in 2014. Pro Thunder, C20 and C20+ awards are now subject to conditions listed in point 9.1 of the supplementary regulations. For these 3 classes this means if there are 1-3 entrants 1st place will be awarded a trophy, 4-6 entrants 1st and 2nd will be awarded a trophy and if there are 7 or more entrants 1st, 2nd & 3rd will be awarded a trophy for the round. If you have any questions regarding racing at the February meeting please direct them to competition@caferacerclub. Time is short, we can only do so much to organise the meeting, its now up to you the racers to make it successful. Enter here - caferacerclub/php/raceentryform.php
