Improve your striking & throwing. Basically your shoulder start at your feet, for instance imagine throwing a punch where your feet were on a slippery surface or not even attached to the ground you would likely produce very little force or power throwing or punching. Also, Biomechanic testing have shown to utilise effective throwing and striking you need to adopt whats called a lock pelvis position which is essential for transferring force. Basically put if you wish to increase speed & power for throwing or striking you will need to focus on developing strength in the lateral hip muscle and frontal plane trunk flexors. Here are just some exercise that are ideal for this ( star side plank/ S/A farmer walk/ suit case lift )
