Imran Khan: We will celebrate womens day. Women need to be respected. Some rumbling about not following West where women arent respected like they are in Pakistan. A dissident: Your respect wouldnt and hasnt fixed complex legal and social problems confronting Pakistani women, neither could it. Your respect isnt equal to rights of women! For you giving women equal rights is a Western folly. You want to give respect but not rights. You want to give women respect? Respect them as equal human beings, could you? Typical burger reborn muslim mentality. This is why people like these are most dangerous because they portray themselves as faces of modernity. When they start getting into limelight, they propagate their narrative as an alternative to the egality based modernism, while the ignorant masses start associating their brand of modernism as THE REAL DEAL.
