In--well, a generation ago, our first Thanksgiving, it fell to me - TopicsExpress

In--well, a generation ago, our first Thanksgiving, it fell to me to make dinner while my wife was at work. I was in a creative writing class at the time, and was required to write something every day in a literary journal, so as I made the meal I logged everything I did. After all, one day I might just want to include the preparation of a major feast in one of my books, and having a guideline by which to do it would be useful. It happens that this year I am not quite on my own by the chief cook of the dinner. Ive taken a number of shortcuts, and have been promised help by at least one of those planning to be here for the meal, but already I have started working on it. It came into my head that perhaps I might once again log the process, this time in the new medium--but would anyone care to read it? Not much point in telling you all what you dont want to hear, but I thought Id mention it, and maybe someone will be interested in the process (maybe one of my writer friends who has not had the experience). So Im not yet posting what Ive already done, but I am posting to see if anyone wants me to do so.
