In 1 Hour Jesse interviews Craig Karolus – guide for musical journeys. Craig has been involved with music for most of his life, starting with his high school marching bad the Minnesota Marching M’BAssadors, under the direction of Mr. Gove who put his small town of Long Prairie, Minnesota on the map. Craig was a percussionist and drum major for the marching band, who traveled all over the country. Craig directed the field show band when they performed at the Festival of States competition. Even as a small child he would spend time playing an electric organ at his grandmother’s house, music as always been a part of his life; as this is where he started putting basic melodies together. Craig got his first taste of New Age music while serving in the US Army in Advanced Individual Training; and was hooked ever since. After his army days Craig teamed up with his brothers Todd, Curt, and good friends Paul Singh and Mic Ironi to paly in a rock band. Named “Karolus”; which played for nearly 10 years, and included opening for Great White. He then decided to compile the music he had written over the previous 15 years to create his album “Standing On Top”. We will be looking at Craig and the work he has created over the years.
