In 17 short days my daughter will be turning 6 years old. The last few days I have been thinking about how clearly I remember her birth and the love we were surrounded by. I wanted to share some things that stick out about that day. I clearly remember all of our good friends and family waiting as I progressed. Just relaxing in the room with me, taking turns making me laugh, calming my nerves, and even coming to the rescue when I got sick! (Thank you Heather Hebert) I remember a group of girls (and one guy) making bets as to when Miss Marlee Hallberg would make her grand entrance. All sipping coffee that the wonderful Debbie White had brought to share. I remember, mid push, Janelle Hebert peeking into the room, smiling ear to ear giving me TWO thumbs up. I remember The girls, Ginger, Heather, Debbie, Nella and Stephanie going for shots afterwards. I remember Michael Hallberg driving to 7-11 bc I realllllly wanted a wrap that ONLY they had. Ofcouse, at 1:30 am, they didnt have that sandwich:/ I remember Nene ( Nikki Totman) taking Marlee in her arms as she was her own. I still she that to this day. I love that my daughter was a trivia question the night after her birth (thats when wednesdays were Trivia night!) I remember all the visitors the days after her birth, and once we got home. I remember daily that this, THIS IS MY DAMN VILLAGE, and I wouldnt have it any other way..
